Website and e-commerce development

WHAT IT'S JUDGED ON
How many people reach the bottom of the page. Whether it was liked in the meeting counts for little
WHAT WE BUILD ON
WordPress, Shopify or custom, depending on who will update it
BEFORE GOING LIVE
Speed, accessibility and conversions tracked

IN SHORT

We design and build fast, accessible websites and online shops made to turn visits into customers, on WordPress, Shopify or with code we write ourselves. Existing sites we improve with testing, analysis of how people move around and work on the pages that matter most. Every campaign ends up on the website, so the website has to hold up.

How a page is put together

IT'S BUILT ONE BLOCK AT A TIME

HERO AND PROMISE
SOCIAL PROOF
PRODUCT PAGE
CHECKOUT

We build in blocks, in order of importance: first what visitors need to understand, then what they need to do.

01Speed

Core Web Vitals checked before launch, not after Google flags them.

02Accessibility

Contrast, keyboard, screen readers. Since 2025 it has also been the law in Europe.

03Measurable

Events and conversions wired in from day one, not added six months later.

04Easy to update

Whoever works on it after us must be able to do so without calling us.

Online shops we have built

NO TWO E-COMMERCE SITES ARE ALIKE

Training courses, beer, supplements, industrial vacuums sold in North America. We choose the platform based on what is being sold and who will run it afterwards: Shopify, WooCommerce or code written for the job.

GAME · LEAD CAPTURE

The wheel of fortune

A pop-up you spin that assigns a personal, single-use discount code and sends the contact into the email flows. We built it for ASO Facile and for Metzger 1848: the list grows through play, with no tedious forms.

What’s included

WHAT WE DO,
IN PRACTICE

  • 01

Company websites designed to be found

Company websites and landing pages on WordPress or built from scratch, with a structure designed for Google from the very first sketch.

  • 02

    Online shops connected to everything

E-commerce on Shopify and WooCommerce, connected to marketplaces, management software, automated emails and product catalogues for campaigns.

  • 03

More sales from the same traffic

Analysis of how people move around, A/B tests, reviews of forms, product pages and checkout. It's called conversion rate optimisation.

  • 04

    Pages that open instantly

Images, code and hosting optimised for Core Web Vitals, the speed measures Google checks and visitors feel.

  • 05

    A website everyone can use

Websites that comply with the European Accessibility Act, the EU accessibility law. They can be used with a keyboard alone and with screen readers.

  • 06

Rebuilding the site without losing rankings

We redesign the website and keep the rankings you've earned: a controlled page migration, redirects and monitoring.

Every campaign ends up on the website

You can have the best campaigns in the world, but if the landing page is slow, confusing or doesn’t answer the person who clicked, that’s where the budget is lost. That’s why we treat the website as part of the marketing system, together with campaigns, SEO and email.

We design starting from what needs to happen: a lead, an order, a booking. Every page has a goal, a clear path and a way to measure it.

Online shops that sell

In online shops we work on what moves the numbers: complete product pages, well-organised categories, a smooth checkout, integration with marketplaces such as Amazon, clean catalogues for Google Shopping and Meta, automated emails for abandoned baskets and repeat purchases. We look after e-commerce shops in food, cosmetics and bathroom furnishings, with very different seasons and catalogues.

Fast, accessible, measurable

We build with one eye on speed and the other on the accessibility required by European law, and we install the tools to understand what visitors do from day one. Then we improve: A/B tests, heatmaps, reviews of the pages that lose the most. Launch is where the work begins.

We also build websites for organisations that sell memberships and fees rather than products: for sports clubs, associations and schools we connect the website to ClubRM, our membership management software, so membership, course and event registration all sit in the same basket.

How we work

FROM A BLANK PAGE TO A LIVE WEBSITE

  1. 01

We work out what it needs to do

A site that collects quote requests and one that sells shoes look nothing alike. First you decide what needs to happen, then you talk about design.

  2. 02

    We map out the journey

The pages in order, what visitors read and where they click. We do it first with a black-and-white wireframe, because discussing colours when the structure doesn't hold up is a waste of time.

  3. 03

    We build

Development, real copy instead of placeholder text, speed checked as we go. Accessibility included, which since 2025 has also been a legal requirement in Europe.

  4. 04

    We connect the measurement

Events and conversions connected before launch, compliant cookie consent, data arriving where it's needed. Adding them later costs twice as much.

  5. 05

    We improve with data

After launch we look at where people drop off and fix it. A website is a permanent work in progress, and cutting the ribbon is only the beginning.

What you get

THE WIREFRAMES, THE DESIGN AND THE SPEED TESTS

Wireframe delle pagine principali affiancati
01The page wireframes, where substance is decided before form.
Schermate del design finito su desktop e telefono
02The design, made for phones first, because that's where almost all the traffic comes from.
Report Core Web Vitals con i valori in verde
03Speed tests before going live. Google notices, and so do people waiting for the page to load.

We did it for

THE PROJECTS WHERE
WE DID IT

All our work

Better said up front

WHEN WE ADVISE AGAINST A NEW WEBSITE

NO

Your current site works and sells

Rebuilding it just because it's three years old is an elegant way to throw money away. Often two new pages and a speed fix are enough.

NO

Nobody knows who will update it

The finest project dies within six months if nobody in the company has the time or the access. We decide it together before we start.

NO

The whole budget goes on the website

A new website with nobody bringing visitors to it is a shop window on a closed street. Better to keep a share aside for getting found.

The questions we get asked

THE QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED MOST

How much does it cost to build a website?

It depends on how many pages, features and languages are needed, and on who writes the copy. A brochure website and an e-commerce shop with hundreds of products are very different projects. After an initial call we send you a detailed quote, item by item.

How do you increase e-commerce sales?

By working on several fronts at once. Bringing the right people to the site, with SEO and campaigns. Making sure they find what they're looking for straight away and buy without a hitch, with well-crafted product pages and checkout. Bringing them back, with emails and automation after the first purchase.

WordPress, Shopify or a custom build?

WordPress for company websites and sites that need to grow in content. Shopify for e-commerce that wants to get going quickly with solid integrations. A custom build when requirements don't fit the standard mould or speed is decisive. We'll recommend one once we understand what the site will need to do over the next three years.

Will I lose my rankings if I rebuild the site?

Only if the migration is done badly. We map every page address, set up redirects, keep the content that performs and monitor Search Console in the weeks that follow. The new site often gains rankings, because it's faster and better organised.

Do you also handle hosting and maintenance?

Yes, with maintenance plans that include updates, backups, security and performance monitoring. A website has to keep working after it's been delivered.
