GLOSSARY
Editorial plan
DEFINITION
An editorial plan is the document that sets out what to publish, where, when and why: a brand's goals, audiences, content pillars, formats and content calendar.
It turns posts published at random into work you can measure. A good plan starts from the company’s goals, creates content pillars in line with the brand’s image, adapts formats to each platform and plans how to reuse the content that works.
It is the first step of how we manage social media and content.
