GLOSSARY
Remarketing
DEFINITION
Remarketing (also called retargeting) shows ads to people who have already visited the site, engaged with the content or bought, with different messages depending on the stage they are at.
It all starts with audience lists. The more precise they are (people who viewed a category, people who abandoned their basket, existing customers), the better the ads hit the mark. Excluding people who have already bought, capping how often someone sees the ad and changing the message for each list is the difference between a campaign that pays off and a wasted budget.
It runs on Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, and it is always part of the campaigns we manage on Google Ads and paid social.
